Cisco is committed to providing you with a secure and reliable experience. To ensure our Cisco Secure Access platform continues to meet your needs, we will be performing maintenance.
Maintenance Details The platform team will be performing upgrades in the ap-south-1_1_0 vEDC. During this time, traffic will be redirected to ap-south-1_1_1, in the same resiliency region.
Date and Time July 10th, 16:00 UTC to July 11th, 20:00 UTC
Impact During this maintenance window, sessions on the affected VEDC may be terminated. Services will attempt to automatically reconnect to another VEDC within the same region; however, seamless reconnection depends on client configuration. For IPsec connectivity, traffic continuity depends on customer-side failover configuration. Brief session interruptions may occur.
Component
Existing / New Sessions
Recovery / Customer Action
Cisco Secure Client
Sessions on the affected VEDC can be terminated. New sessions are not expected to be impacted.
Services will attempt to automatically reconnect to another VEDC. Manual reconnection required if auto-reconnect is not enabled.
Data Loss Prevention
DLP Reporting pages will be unavailable and DLP Events will be delayed in reporting.
All other services remain operational. No customer action required.
Network Tunnel Groups
Existing sessions can briefly reconnect through the paired data center. New sessions are not expected to be impacted.
Recovery is automatic. No customer action required. Impact is expected to last only a few seconds during the start and end of maintenance.
Policy Enforcement
No service interruption or traffic impact is expected.
No customer action required.
Remote Access VPN
Active VPN sessions connected through the affected data center can be disconnected. New sessions are not expected to be impacted.
Users will need to reconnect. Sessions are expected to establish through the paired data center.
Remote Browser Isolation
RBI will be unavailable for some or all of the maintenance window.
Customer traffic will be rerouted to Secure Web Gateway; policies other than RBI policies will be applied.
Reserved IP
Traffic will egress using alternate public IP addresses instead of Reserved IPs.
Customers relying on Reserved IP allowlisting will experience connectivity issues until maintenance ends.
Resource Connector
Resource Connector sessions can briefly disconnect or move to a nearby healthy data center. New sessions are not expected to be impacted.
Recovery is automatic. No customer action required. Expected recovery is less than one minute.
Zero Trust Access
ZTNA enrollments and OCSP checks will intermittently fail during the maintenance window.
Re-enrolling Secure Access ZTNA clients will restore normal workflow. No impact to other ZTNA workflows.
